My Philosophy.
I have practiced law long enough to realize that this is not a profession where one size fits all. While I generally prefer a collaborative style of working through a problem, I recognize that under certain circumstances an aggressive approach to a case is best.
Toward that end, while I would like to resolve all of our clients' problems with letters, conferences and phone calls, I realize that in many instances I need to represent people in court, dispute resolution, or before a governmental agency. I have undertaken hundreds of court appearances for my clients and have no hesitation using that approach if my client and I both believe it is best.
I've also come to learn through my years of experience that part of what my clients pay me for and expect of me is to give them my best advice, even if it is not something they want to hear. If I have examined a matter and in my best judgment I do not believe your case has merit, I will tell you just that. I do not believe it is in anyone's best interest to pursue matters that are frivolous or an unwise investment of resources by my clients.
I have an excellent reputation and relationship with most of my clients, colleagues, and members of the community. I believe that the way that I practice law and the results I have achieved for my clients are responsible for that. Toni Froehling
