Mr. Froehling has been practicing law in the Puyallup area since 1978. He graduated from Austin College in Sherman, Texas, then earned his law degree from Seattle University in 1977. He has attended graduate school focusing on School Law at Harvard University. He has also attended and been a presenter at various legal educational seminars throughout the Puget Sound area. He is a frequent contributor of articles in various legal publications. He often serves as an arbitrator, mediator and pro tem Judge and Commissioner, and is frequently appointed as a Guardian ad Litem for children.
Mr. Froehling is a past president of the Family Law Section of the Pierce County Bar Association, former trustee of the Bar Association and a past president of the Pierce County Bar. He currently serves on the Editorial Board of the Pierce County Bar Association magazine.
He has also been active in the community. He was a youth sports coach for many years, has served on the Presidents Advisory Committee to the President of Bates College, and is a past member of the Tacoma Philharmonic Board of Directors. He served on the Sumner School Board of Directors for 25 years.
